This role requires responsibility, focus, and commitment. You must be proactive, safety-conscious, and have a “get it done” attitude. To succeed, you should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, good communication, and the ability to adapt to different routes and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, staff, and materials as required
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries according to schedules
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain accurate trip records, mileage logs, and delivery documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Assist with loading/unloading and securing cargo when necessary

Provide professional customer service when interacting with clients or stakeholders
Must Have
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven driving experience (light or heavy vehicles depending on company needs)
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and routes in the operating region
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift and move goods when required
- Experience driving across borders or long-distance rout
Nice to have

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (oil, tires, minor repairs)
- Defensive driving certification or advanced driver training
- Familiarity with GPS systems, route planning apps, or fleet management tools
- Customer service skills when dealing with clients, suppliers, or team members
